This meeting is being sponsored by Maxum MaxCare Calf Milk Replacers and we are fortunate to have Gemma Chuck from Australia presenting to us. Gemma is a technical dairy veterinarian for Apiam Animal Health where she writes technical service programs for famers and vets and leads multiple programs aimed for recently graduated veterinarians. She will be presenting her PhD research on “The effect of early life events on lactation and reproductive performance in dairy heifers”. We also have sessions on various methods of feed analysis, and other interesting and stimulating presentations as per the attached agenda.
This is a one day meeting, but Alltech have offered the opportunity for NZARN members who are interested to visit their in vitro feed analysis lab in Henderson the following morning (Thursday 8 August).
