Emerging sustainable options for winter cropping

Forage brassicas are an effective option when it comes to choosing which winter crop to plant. Wayne discussed how not all dry matter is created equally, and nether are the winter feed options. Its important to ensure that the diet is balanced to achieve winter crop goals. As part of balancing the diet, testing each crop helps better understand what is available in terms of nutrients. Fundamentally the biggest issue is under feeding, so spending time to ensure the correct allocation of feed is essential.
